Are you in the rat race? Do you need to escape for a while? Come with us, we have the perfect adventure! SEAL is waiting to bring you back to nature with our unique Tropical Islands Sea Kayaking Safari in the Mergui Archipelago, Burma. We promise to get you away from the city lights and the hustle and bustle of modern living. Come and escape to the wilderness of one of Asias remotest regions. Our sea kayaking safaris will take you deep into the interior of the beautiful Mergui Archipelago. Exploring by sea kayak, amongst some of the worlds loveliest tropical islands, will be enough to repair even the most tired of souls!
Be one of the first foreigners to kayak around the southern islands of the Mergui Archipelago, Myanmar. Comprising over eight hundred islands and covering an area of ten thousand square miles. Explore an area totally untouched by modern development, with a rich history of maritime trade, mysticism and piracy. The modern-day Mergui Archipelago is as it was in days gone by, bar the piracy! Due to the archipelago's virtual isolation, the islands and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of wildlife, flaura and fauna. Sea Kayaking is the ideal way to explore the many bays, coves, inlets and tidal rivers of these "Lost islands of Paradise". This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the wild, unspoiled beauty of one of the last places on earth which remains the same today as it was hundreds of years ago.
Top Quality Tropical Island Safari Camp! Shaded by old hardwood tress and Casurina Pines, our safari camp overlooks an idyllic white sandy beach approximately one and a half kilometers in length. The island itself is covered in rain forest and is stunningly beautiful. The camp's main safari tent is set amongst tall trees, providing a large shaded area for relaxation and dining. Hammocks and reclining chairs are provided throughout the camp site.
Come and discover the wildlife which we and many of our guests have seen on these kayak adventures: Some of the local creatures we have seen include wild elephants, Flying Foxes, Civet Cats, Gibbons, crab-eating Maquaks, wild boar, Monitor Lizards, Turtles, Armadillos, Mouse Deer, the odd Crocodile and Fruit Bats. The great variety of birds includes owls, flocks of parrots and Hornbills plus many different species of snake including Reticulated Pythons - and a whole lot more!
Come and explore a long-lost region with incredible natural
beauty and rare wildlife.
Or just relax in Paradise!
